I’m Linda Shaffer, the owner of The Retail Fairy.

This is a place where kindness is intentional, beauty is allowed to age, and objects are chosen for how they feel to live with, not just how they look.

Some pieces arrive with stories.
Others are waiting to be lived with.

I create and curate with care. Vintage garments that have known real nights and real movement. New pieces designed to make room for the memories still ahead. Clothing, artwork, and gifts meant to be worn, held, gifted, and kept close.

I believe kindness does not need to shout.
Hope does not need to hurry.
And beauty does not retire.

I’m 80 years old, still creating, still curious, still learning. My life has moved through retail floors, city lights, quiet rooms, and changing seasons. I’ve adapted, rebuilt, and kept going, not because it was easy, but because it felt true.

This shop is the meeting place of experience and becoming.
